Kelly Patrick  Carter
Kelly Patrick Carter passed from this world on September 29, 2012 at the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on October 17, 1966 in Wills Point, Texas.

After suffering for many years, God was merciful in the end. Family and friends were blessed to have known him. He is survived by his parents, Dewayn and Nell Carter of Wills Point, one sister and brother-in-law, Marla and Randle Jones of The Woodlands, Texas, one brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Scott Carter and Melissa Carter, of Albuquerque, three nephews and two nieces, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by a few friends who would call him brother.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Grady and Mattie McFarland of Wills Point, and Archie and Annie Carter of Van.

Kelly graduated from Quitman High School and attended TVCC, Texas A&M University and Texas State Technical College. He worked at Mercedes Benz of Austin for many years. He enjoyed a multitude of activities and hobbies, but was particularly passionate about cars, gardening, the outdoors, and showering attention upon his nephews and nieces.

Family and friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:30 - 7:30 PM on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the McFarland farm , located at 2708 CR 3808, Wills Point, TX 75169.
